Learning Journey to NASA Hyperwall!
Attention all Sec 2 and Sec 3 students!!!
If you are interested in the planetary/earth sciences, SST is arranging a FREE trip for you to visit the NASA Hyperwall exhibition at Resorts World Sentosa!
What
1) We will visit NASA Hyperwall and interact with NASA Scientists at the booths. Rare opportunity to find out more about the work of NASA from them directly!
2) Attend a public lecture "The End of the Pacific? Effects of Sea-Level Rise on Pacific Island Livelihoods" by Patrict Nunn. This lecture will expose us to the perils of sea-level rise - and we can draw parallels from the Pacific Islands and ask ourselves if Singapore should start worrying as well? Those who intend to go on GCP Humanities Trip to Hawaii are strongly encouraged to attend this talk!
Where
Resorts World Convention Center, Sentosa
When
16 August (Thurs), 2.15 - 6.15pm
We will gather outside GO at 2.15pm. You will return to SST at about 6.15pm.
