Announcement: Moving on...

Dear Students

23 November 2012 marks another milestone in SST's history when we welcome our 4th batch of students and all of you will move on to be the seniors of the institution.

With effect from 23 November 2012, we will no longer update this blog.
The 2013 Student Blog would take effect from this date (8 am onwards); all new announcements and information pertaining to activities and the new academic year will be posted in the Students Blog 2013 with effective from today.

Your juniors will attempt Pre-Engagement Activities as you did before they formally join the SST community. Do drop by to provide advice to them if you come across enquiries :)

Do look out for updates in the GoogleSite as well as the blog.

Dear Sec 1 Students

Through the 4 hours of exposure, we hope that you have a good overview of what we learnt in subjects like Physics and Mathematics can be meaningfully applied in the design of games :)

In fact, the activity you went through yesterday was a new version of the workshop, which the previous batches did not get to come up with a complete executable game with scores :)

As a follow-up, we would like to hear your feedback. Please complete the following form.

(20121106) (Sec 3 only) Participation in IDA's 1-to-1 Computing Case Study

Dear Students

In March 2012, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) commissioned a 1-to-1 Computing Case Study to capture good practices as well as learning points from schools that have implemented the 1-to-1 ICT-enabled learning programmes. The Study attempts to draw out interesting insights that others can learn from before embarking onto the 1-to-1 computing initiative. To do this, data is gathered from academic staff, students and parents through face-to-face interview as well as online survey.

Being a school that has implemented the 1-to-1 ICT-enabled programme since its inception, SST has been identified as one of the selected schools to participate in this Study. IDA would like to invite  Sec 3 students to participate in this online survey.

IDA will be contacting you via your school email account this week. Please look out for the email and respond to the survey as soon as you receive it.

Thank you very much.
