3D Graphics and Animation Competition 2012

Dear Students,

Temasek Polytechnic, together with its strategic industry partner, IM Innovations Pte Ltd, is pleased to announce the annual 3D Graphics & Animation Competition for secondary school students.

This is the 5th consecutive year that we are organising this 3D computer graphics competition. Students who took part previously benefited immensely from the experience and had great fun too. This year, our new competition theme “The World Through My Eyes”, will allow participants to visually express their views about our world. As in last year’s competition, all participants will be required to use MAXON CINEMA 4D to develop their entries, for uniformity and standardisation. There will be 2 competition categories, namely stills and animation, and entries will be judged by a panel comprising industry experts, staff from IM Innovations and our polytechnic.

We would like to invite students from your school to take part in this competition. For those taking part in this competition for the first time, your students can submit entries for the still category.

For those who are not familiar and do not have MAXON CINEMA 4D Software, Temasek Polytechnic will organise complimentary software training.

Students who are interested in participating in the above competition please approach Mr Irfan from the ADMT department by Monday, 30th July 2012.
